In my previous One Moment Please I mentioned a flock of Robins. However they were not the only creatures who appeared outside my window on Easter Day. As I was watching the Robins something larger attracted my attention. It moved closer, and I realized that on Easter afternoon I was looking at the Easter Bunny! A white Rabbit was jumping across the brown grass.  

In the Bible reading for today there is an account of man who, jumping and leaping, accompanied Peter and John into the Temple. The people who had gathered for worship were much amazed. Why? Because the man had been lame from birth and for years they had seen him sitting at the gateway to the Temple asking for alms. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth the lame man had been healed. The man’s life changed dramatically.  

When Jesus Christ enters into a person’s life the old order passes away; a new day full of unimaginable possibilities opens before the person. Thanks be to God!
