Do you long to walk in a garden filled with flowers and trees, with birds and bees, with grasses and rushes up to your knees? The precious gift of rain these last few days will encourage growth according to God’s marvellous ways. Then we may walk in the sun’s warm rays and sing our heart’s joyful hymn of praise.
However there is another garden that you are invited to enjoy everyday, a garden so beautiful and uplifting that it will bring tears to your eyes. This is the garden of your heart into which, at your baptism, you asked your Lord and Saviour to enter, and with Whose help the weeds and poisonous dangers have been gradually removed and replaced with babbling brooks and towering cedars. With your Creator, God Almighty—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—, you are free to stroll in the cool of the day, sharing and listening to all that Jesus may say. Hurray! Hurray!
