Today I am blessed by the Lord God Almighty; today Pauline and I receive our first dose of vaccine against COVID19. With this first dose comes a sense of relief.

The lifting of some of our concern about COVID19 does not mean that our pattern of daily life is going to change. We will continue to wear our masks and maintain social distancing outside our home, as well as frequent hand washing and using sanitiser, especially when we return home from grocery shopping. By continuing to follow the current Public Health protocols we will be expressing our love for our neighbour even as we love ourselves.

As a follower of Jesus Christ I choose to love God and one of the practical ways of expressing this love is by loving my neighbour as I love myself. We are both part of the Creation which God Almighty has brought into existence and continues to bless and sustain. Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me a simple practical way of expressing my love for You and for everyone who is part of this wonderful creation which You have made. Amen.
