This week I offer three prayers which you might find helpful when composing your own prayers. The first prayer focuses on returning to school.

Lord Jesus, this week our grandchildren and children have returned to school for in classroom learning. Please protect them, their teachers, and the school staff against COVID19 and its mutations. Bless them all with patience and understanding as they adjust to changing situations and new challenges. May a spirit of co-operation unite them as they share together in the fight against this virus, and may they enjoy learning about the good and wonderful things which you, O Lord, have blessed us with.
