2018 marks 125 years since the Diocese of Calgary was formed. To celebrate this anniversary, the Diocese has decided to make a gift to support Habitat for Humanity. Until December 30, the Diocese will match all donations, up to $100,000. That means that if you donate $20, it becomes $40. Parish Council has agreed to donate $500 to help this worthy cause.
Habitat for Humanity builds homes with struggling families to help stop the cycle of poverty and homelessness. They build homes all around the world, all around Canada, and also right here in Calgary. Working together, we can help raise $200,000 for Habitat for Humanity!
Gifts of any size will be accepted at the Diocesan Office. Please make cheques out to The Anglican Diocese of Calgary and write in the memo line, “Habitat for Humanity”.
Mail them to: Anglican Diocese of Calgary, Habitat Challenge, #108, 1209 59 Ave SE, Calgary AB T2H 2P6
God bless, Clara
